A Mother-Daughter Collaboration
After 30 years as an Art Advisor, Jenny enrolled in a jewelry making class after the loss of both parents. The creative output was overwhelming. Hundreds of designs later, her daughter, Lily, suggested they think about how the two of them might turn things into a business. These discussions gave mother and daughter a daily reason to connect while living 3,000 miles apart. Lily was living in New York City working as a Merchandiser for a leading fashion brand, while Jenny was in Los Angeles managing her art consulting business. They had an “AHA” moment during one of these phone conversations when Lily challenged Jenny to design something that she saw happening in the fashion industry - a demand for day-to-night versatility in clothes.
The two women are now geographically united, continuing to challenge each other and collaborate in all aspects of the business. Both are fully invested in this all -consuming passion, designing their signature functional jewelry and building a business out of a dream.
